VDF distribute 2300 Rams, Cattle worth over D10M to needy Gambians

EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, THE GAMBIA: Vision Development Foundation (VDF), a Foundation of Gambian philanthropist Momodou Turo Darboe has donated over 2300 rams to poor and needy Gambians and Cattle to women groups and security agencies in observance of the Muslim feast of Edul-Adha, locally referred as Tobaski.
The animals were worth over ten million dalasi. The presentation of the cattle was held at Abuko central abattoir while the rams were presented to the VDF office in Churchills Town both on the eve of the Tobaski festivity.
Mr. Darboe’s Foundation always extend his benevolence to Gambian poor and needy people during the Holy month of Ramadan and Tobaski and also provides scholarships to students and other philanthropic gestures.
