EYEAFRICA TV: Dakar, SENEGAL: President of Senegal Macky Sall left the capital Dakar for New York to take part in the 74th Ordinary Session of the United Nations General Assembly, his office announced.
The theme of this year’s session is “Boosting Multilateral Efforts to Eradicate Poverty, Quality Education, Action on Climate Change and Inclusion”.
President Sall is expected to address the plenary of the Assembly on Tuesday. He will also take part in several side events, in addition to bilateral hearings and talks.
According to the release from Senegalese Presidency, Mr Sall will deliver address to the US-Africa Business Center, which is a component of the US Chamber of Commerce.
He will also host a conference at Yale University on the theme: “Africa in International Relations contemporary “.
Mr Sall returns to Senegal on Thursday 26 the September.
