Senegal Shuns Sale of Migrants from Sub-Saharan Africa to Libya Territories

EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, THE GAMBIA: Government of Senegal says it learnt with deep indignation the sale of migrants from the Sub-Saharan region to Libyan territories.
In a statement sent to us yesterday, the government vigorously denounce and condemned in the strongest manner the human trafficking which, it said constitutes a serious offense to the conscience of humanity.
The country’s government authorities urged competent Libyan authorities, as well as the African Union and the United Nations to promptly launch an investigation into this age-old practice so that all steps can be taken to put an end to it.
