Senegal President arrives in Russia to attend country's first World Cup game

EYEAFRICA TV: Moscow, RUSSIA: Senegal’s President Macky Sall has arrived Russia where he will watch his country’s Teranga Lions first 2018 World Cup game against Poland tomorrow Tuesday.

President Sall will attend the game at the invitation of the world football governing body FIFA Secretary General.

During his stay duration in Moscow, President Sall is also expected to have a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin.

He will later make a private stay in Morocco and will take part in the international forum of Assilah on June 29 where he will present a communication on African integration.

He will finally attend the African Union Summit on 1 and 2 July in the Mauritanian capital, Nouakchott.

The 31st Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) will take place from 25th June to 2nd July 2018, under the theme: Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation.
