- EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, THE GAMBIA: President of the Gambia Adama Barrow is on way to Mauritania to grace the inauguration of newly elected president Mohamed Ould Ghazouani today.
The country’s ruling party candidate won the presidential elections with 52 percent of the votes last month.
Although, there is no official announcement of President Barrow’s travel, he is expected to return to Banjul this evening.
Consequently, the President of India, who arrived in the country yesterday will address the National Assembly while his host is in Mauritania.
