NIGERIAN HEALTH WORKERS DEMAND BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS

Nigerian doctors have begun an indefinite strike over government’s failure to consider the welfare of frontline health workers.

More than two hundred doctors have contracted the coronavirus out of which ten have died, making health workers among the hardest hit in the country.

As the number coronavirus cases continue to rise, this latest move may hamper the country’s efforts to contain the pandemic.
