Ndure presented credentials before President Sall

EYEAFRICA TV: Dakar, SENEGAL: Gambia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal His Excellency Ebou Ndure has presented his credentials before Senegalese President Macky Sall at the statehouse in Dakar. Senegal holds strong cultural and economic ties with the Gambia and Ndure’s appointment is meant to further strengthen the historical and bilateral ties between the two countries.
Following the Gambia’s presidential elections last year that was marred with controversy as longtime ruler and ex-president Jammeh refused to step down having lost to Coalition flagbearer Adama Barrow, Senegal played a key role in the enforcement of the December election results as its troops led the regional blog’s military intervention efforts.
His Excellency Ndure is said to be the first diplomat to present credentials
