MAI FATTY LAMENTS ‘UNACCEPTABLE’ CONDITIONS OF ISOLATION CENTRES

After completion of his quarantine period, leader of opposition Gambia Mural Congress has warned of the risk of rebellion from people held in intolerable conditions.

Mai Ahemed Fatty likened the situation in Gambia’s isolation centres for the COVID-19 to classified prisons, despite the allocation of millions of dalasi for quarantine purposes.

His statement is coming a week after the ministry of health presented the good pictures of these isolation centres, in response to criticism on the prevailing conditions.
