EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, The Gambia: Banjul Breweries Limited (BBL), Julbrew- will launch a new product call Chill, tomorrow Friday, bringing it to the fifteenth product added into the bottler’s product portfolio in The Gambia.
Management says the launch of the new product is in its efforts to add to its tourism promotion and development. The launch will be at the bottler’s head office in Kanifing, at 3:30 pm.
With lemon flavour with beer, management says the new product is a shandy with only 2 percent alcohol, meant to provide chilling when a person is high. “We invite all our consumers and the entire Gambians to the launching.”
Earlier this year, the bottler nearly ceased production of it beverages, including hard and soft drinks when Gambia government, through the National Assembly announced it was increasing tax on beer products of the company which it rescinded two months later.
