HUNDREDS MOURN DEATH OF US SUPREME COURT JUDGE, RUTH BADER GINSBURG

Hundreds of people gathered outside the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. on Friday night to mourn the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who had served on the court since 1993.

Mourners were seen leaving flowers and candles, while the US flag at the Supreme Court was lowered at half-mast.

Ginsburg, 87, died on Friday at her home in Washington of complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer – a type of cancer that starts in the pancreas and spreads to other organs within the abdomen and to the liver, lungs, bones and brain.
