The ministry of health on Thursday visited quarantine centers to update the media on the level of preparedness and the facilities at hand to manage Covid-19 patients in the country.
There were concerns as to whether the covid-19 patients are kept in centers equipped with good facilities to manage the patients.
Modou Njie, director of health promotion and education at the health ministry responded to critics on social media
Dr, Abubakar Manjang Manager of the badala Park quarantine center said there are coordinated efforts during responses by the different teams at the center.
He said, quarantine doesn’t mean patients are kept in prison more details in this video
Saying that the people should not discriminate or stigmatize the infected individuals but should respect and cheer them after the COVIC-19.
