GAMBIANS WELCOME LIMITED TERMS FOR PRESIDENTS IN NEW CONSTITUTION

In May this year, a study by the International Republican Institute’s Centre for Insights in Survey Research found nearly 90 percent of Gambians agree that the country needs a new constitution.

 

Nearly 75 percent of the population also said they would vote in a constitutional referendum.

 

But what do Gambians think about sections of the constitution providing limited terms for presidents?
