Gambian Cleric Wants Mosques Reopen to Pray-Away Coronavirus

EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, THE GAMBIA: A Muslim scholar in the Gambia have called for the re-opening of mosques so that Muslims could offer prayers for the coronavirus pandemic to end.

The Gambia government closed places of worship after reopening briefly, in a bid to halt the spread of the virus as community infections rise.
