Gambia Launches Coronavirus Preparedness

As expert projection puts number of coronavirus in the Gambia in hundreds by the month of July, Government has responded with installation of a thousand hospital beds in case of necessity.

In his fourth speech to the nation since March, President Adama Barrow said his government has acquired Twelve Million Dollars’ worth of equipment which include Personnel Protective Equipment, digital x-rays and ventilators.

He disclosed that, measures such as random testing in various communities will likely be employed

The government of the Gambia has called on citizens to go back to the land, a called for which the former government of Yahya Jammeh was well known.
