EYEAFRICA TV: Osaka, Japan:Some G 20 leaders held bilateral and multilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit. U.S. President Donald Trump met his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
It is Donald Trump’s first face to face with Russia’s Vladimir Putin since the special counsel found extensive evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 US election.
Trump has repeatedly disputed the consensus of US intelligence officials that the Kremlin interfered in the 2016 election.
Soon after his meeting with Putin, Trump told the media: “It’s a great honor to be with President Putin.”
