EYEAFRICA TV: Rabat, Morocco: Eyeafrica Television has signed partnership with China’s leading video news agency, CCTV at the fourth Africa Link Union (ACU) Council Meeting in the Moroccan capital Rabat.
The convergence featured partnership deals between the agency and media representative in Africa that will facilitate exchange of content between China and Africa.
Eye Africa Chief Executive Officer, Lamin Kanteh told the Chinese broadcaster on Monday that the formation of media empire to serve people in different locations is paramount in the broadcast industry.
“The partnership is important, looking at the huge logistical demand for a broadcaster to establish bureaus or send correspondents everywhere, he said. For the Eyeafrica CEO, gone are days when institutions would live in isolation instead of complementing one another.
Mr Kanteh drew ink on papers to strengthen working relation with the Asian side on the exchange and delivery of content across the globe.
The Africa Link Union offers news products and services in line with international standards to global media organizations with world-leading distributors of professional news content.
Nearly, two thousand TV channels and one thousand digital media platforms in more than one hundred countries are client to the CCTV Plus.
