EYEAFRICA TV: Dakar, SENEGAL:-Senegalese legendary singer, Thione Ballago Seck has passed away on Sunday, according to Senegalese media.
Thione, who is also the father of singer Waly Seck, is said to have died following a brief illness at the age of 66.
Seck, who comes from a family of “griot” singers, started his music career with Ochestre Baobab. He later formed his own band, Raam Daan which he still heads.
