3 Years Jotna members Bail Hearing Failed for the fourth time due to Legal Seminar

EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, The Gambia: Hearing of the defence bail application for eight members of the government-banned 3 Years Jotna has failed to proceed today at the High Court in Banjul due to a Legal Seminar which must of the parties to the case, including prosecutors and the defence team is attending. This is the fourth time the bail hearing is failing to proceed.

Justice Amina Saho-Ceesay was expected to hand-down her ruling on defense bail application for the eight men who are charged with three counts of unlawful assembly, rioting after proclamation and rioters demolishing structures.

The eight members of the pressure group were charged following a protest in January to amplify their call for President Adama Barrow to respect the three years mandate agreement he had with coalition 2016 political leaders and step down.
