Gambians are keeping their fingers crossed in hope that National Assembly members will do the right thing by adopting a new draft constitution brought before them last week.
The house is already divided and activists have started pinpointing lawmakers they think would vote against the proposed new supreme law, and have targeted them with social media campaigns.
There is growing fear that the bill may fail when lawmakers vote at the end of their scrutiny.
