EYEAFRICA TV: Cairo, EYGPT: Senegal has reached their second Africa Cup of Nations final with an extra-time victory over Tunisia.

Dylan Bronn own goal gave the Teraga Lions the much-needed victory to play another Africa cup of nations final in 17 years.

Both sides had penalties saved in normal time before Tunisia defender Dylan Bronn inadvertently heading the ball into his own net to give Senegal the lead, and Tunisia had a late penalty overturned by VAR.

Mouez Hassen tipped Sadio Mane’s free-kick onto Bronn’s head as Senegal – who faces either Algeria or Nigeria – moved a step closer to their first Afcon title.

Senegal, despite playing the most number of matches at the flagship African tourney can now activate title dream as their tactical Aliou Cisse makes history by playing in two finals as a player (2002) and now as head coach.

A fully contested and dramatic tie saw both sides missing some glorious opportunities during the game but it was the Teraga Lions who had the final say with Dylan Bronn own goal making the difference.

Tunisia hopes of winning their second AFCON title is all over and the Carthage Eagles would end their 2019 AFCON campaign with a third place play off.
