EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, THE GAMBIA: Gambia’s former Secretary to Cabinet during the country’s former President Yahya Jammeh’s regime today told the Commission of Inquiry that he was not happy with the way some media houses portrayed his testimony in yesterday’s sitting.

“What I heard on radio news today was completely different from what I said,” Touray said.

In The Gambia, it is normal that journalists quote people in their testimonies for broadcast on radios and print media.

The commission chairman Surahata Janneh said their point is for journalists to give accurate reporting but asked Mr. Touray to direct his complaints to the Secretariat which address that matter.
