“Many Gambians thought that we would not survive after former Regime”

President Adama Barrow said one of the grratest achievements of his government since he came into office in January, last year was the relief Gambian people are now enjoying from the rocky burden they were subjected to, particularly the commercial banks.

In an exclusive interview with Eye Africa tv on Thursday at the State House in Banjul, President Barrow said the former regime used to actively take loans from the commercial banks but his government have reduced that.

Mr. Barrow won Gambia’s December 2016 presidential election ending former President Yahya Jammeh’s 22-year brutal rule of the country.
