Juwara, Barrow and Colley impressed in first preseason match
Gambian Serie A trio of Musa Juwara, Ebrima Colley and Musa Barrow played in their club’s first preseason matches.
Barrow who has been linked with a move away from Atalanta scored twice before Ebrima Colley netted his first senior goal. It ended Atalanta 5 Rapp-Città di Clusone 1. Colley scored from a through pass and couldn’t keep his delight after the encounter.
“It feels great to score.” He mentioned.
Atalanta will play few matches in Italy before flying out to the UK to round up their pre season.
Musa Juwara came in the second half when Bologna thrashed Sciliar 5-0. Juwara assisted twice upon his introduction into the game.
Just like Atalanta, Bologna will play few more matches in Italy before leaving for Austria.
Bologna boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has been diagnosed with leukaemia and Juwara is confident he will over come it.
” It saddens the football world, we are convinced he will win the battle against the sickness, he is a fighter.” Juwara pointed out
“I am happy about my performance, and I am looking forward to the next game .” He added.
Elsewhere Gambian vice Captain Omar Colley has joined Sampdoria at the Alta Camonica Valley, where the team is based. They will do double training sessions on Monday.
Meanwhile, Lamin Jallow and Salernitana have also left for San Gregorio Magno for their training camp.
