Gambian representatives came out runners up in the final of the Coppa Devil5 in Italy.

Sheriff Jadama went home with the Best player and leading goalscorer after scoring 27 goals. The yearly tournament was played at Napoli ciciola nola region. Commonly known as Doski, Jadama plays for Afro-Napoli but currently on loan at Picciola

Sulayman Low was voted as the best manager while Momodou Jallow won the best defender accolade.

Buba Sanyang of Jiboroh guided Gambians in second consecutive Championship of the Emilia Romagna. Momodou Ceesay ( Gago) hattrick made the difference in the finals against Morroco. Gago snatched the leading goalscorer award for the second time.

After back to back trophy and spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach, Buba will take charge at Real S. Prospero.

Gambia once again will meet an old foes Morroco in Africa Cup Torino semi -finals. Jamanty Trawally, who scored against Morroco in the 2017 final edition, has registered eight goals already.
