EYEAFRICA TV: Banjul, THE GAMBIA: President Adama Barrow is scheduled to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow Monday as part of ongoing preparations for the forthcoming Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Summit.

This is the third time Mr. Barrow is traveling to Saudi since he took power in January last year. His first presence in the country was his attendance of the United States–Saudi Arabia summit from 20–21 May 2017. The second was when he went to perform Hajj which was criticized but office of the President later said the Hajj package was from the Saudi government.

The next OIC Summit will be hosted in The Gambia in 2019. While in Saudi Arabia, the President is expected to use the opportunity to perform Umrah in Macca.
